Located in the heart of Lincoln Park in Chicago, Hotel Blu is an economically constructed boutique hotel offering 40 rooms and amenities. The amenities include a generous lobby with restaurant and bar, meeting space, fitness center, and roof deck. The project involved creating a brand, budget, proforma, and architectural design. The design of the building is centered on taking advantage of the northern view of Lincoln Park and was accomplished by using a single loaded corridor. The exterior is finished with affordable glazed CMU arranged in a mosaic.
