This project is a park and ride complex located just south of Chicago’s Union Station. The anticipated use of the project was a parking complex to service the proposed West Loop Transportation Center. The intent of the project was to create a rich urban, semi-outdoor area that displayed vehicles instead of hiding them. This was achieved by using automated parking towers to suspend a large glass roof. Located under the created landscape is a theater as well as retail spaces.
